I am topstitching a quilt this week
one long slow line at a time....
It's going to take me forever!
I have been listening to the second book in the Outlander series.
But even with a great book to keep me entertained
I find myself getting antsy
So I have bargained with myself.
I'm going to work on only 2 sections everyday.
Wish me luck
and a decent attention span!
Good Luck on the quilt. I've tried quilting a few times and realized that is just one craft in life, I do not have patience for. Give me yarn and a crochet hook and I am all over it though.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of reading "Drums of Autumn" right now and am so in love with this series. It's also stirred up a huge desire to run off to Scotland. A girl can dream right?
that quilt is looking beautiful! way to go! i'm listening to the hunger games series, aren't audio books awesome?! ;)
ReplyDeleteooh can't wait to see your finished product! good job for quilting it yourself. yay!
ReplyDeleteI want to listen to books too, while I sew. Do you buy them on amazon and listen to them on the laptop? I need advise. thanks, di
ReplyDeleteYour straight line quilting is looking great. It takes forever, tho, doesn't it?
oh good luck friend! i am starting a new book today... micro by michael crichton. my father in law read it and loved it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's going to be beautiful...can't wait to see it. :-) Best to you!
ReplyDeleteI know it's going to be amazing when it's {finally} done - if that's any help at all! I think that's why I have trouble with full-sized quilts - my crafting ADD kicks in too often!
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! And even though it takes forever, you will be really happy once it's done. XO
