Take a peek!

I've just finished up this custom baby boy quilt for Heather M.
It has to be in Texas for a baby shower by Saturday.

I really love the cream and gray splashed with torquoise.
I hope she loves it as much as I do! ;-)

No thorn on this rose.....

It seems the quilt that I get emailed about the most is the French Roses quilt (pattern by Heather French).
It's super darling!

It's TONS of work!!!
But in the end it's worth it.
Each square has 6-7 layers of petals and leaves.  All of which have to be carefully handcut.

This quilt is the perfect size for a darling baby girl who still needs a small soft blankie in her crib.  Or for the toddler who loves to take her blankie absolutely everywhere.  Despite the fact that this is a smaller quilt it will transition through many ages and be loved for years!
SOLD

And wouldn't your daughter just love having a quilt that matches her favorite doll's quilt?

This quilt is standard American Girl Doll size.

It will accomodate any 19" doll or build-a-bear.

I have updated my Etsy storeBoth of these items are now listed :)

One of my favrorites!

The Princess and the Pea
I know, I know.... I say everything is my favorite!
I just really really love cozy charming quilts
Can you blame me?
But this little loveliness above was truly one of my all time favorite projects I've ever worked on.  I put this together for Peekaboo Photos 2 years ago.  Katie already had the top quilt made by this super talented lady.  So we used it as our jumping off point for the rest.
Everytime I see it on peekaboo's blog I feel so proud :-)

Beauty is Pain

Especially in this case.
This modern HST quilt is all done!

(back side)
I've never been a navy kinda girl.
But I really love how it makes the lime green and teal pop.
Oh, and the stitching too!
I know in this picture that my stitches look wavy but I assure you....they're not.

I'm pretty thrilled with the touches of chocolate brown velvet.
And the lime green polka binding is the perfect finishing touch!

It's going to be pretty painful to hand this one over :)

If only she were mine....

This just might be my favorite quilt of all time!!!
I love the simple layout, clean lines and overall crisp feel.

I love, love, love these fabrics.  Most of them are Modern Meadow, and Perch.
I added in a few triangles of  a chocolatey velvet for added deliciousness :-)

Today I'll be doing the top stitching and binding in Amy Butler's Lime Full Moon Polka Dot.
Then she's off to her beautiful home.

Mini Sweet

I think that little girls should have matching blankie's with their Dolls.

Maybe that's because I'm a blanket lover and that sounds fantastic to the 6 year old inside me!

So I've been sewing little doll quilts that coordinate with some of the stuff in my store.

How cute is this set?

It's the perfect companion to my Super Sweet Quilt.

This set, and the mini Twice as Nice below are now both listed in my Etsy Store

I have been spending a good chunk of time sewing up some American Girl Doll quilts.
I mean have you seen what's in the store's???
I do think the American Girl stuff is very, very cute! But it's not the best quality.

I'll be doing a giveaway sometime this month so keep checking back for details.

And I will be listing several bedding sets in my Etsy store very soon!
