Many works!

Right now I have soooo many WIP's!
My brain is a little bit dizzy over it.

Time to hunker down and focus!

My Christmas Blanket seem's to be continually sliding down to the bottom of the list.
I might end up taking it to my favorite Long Arm gal to save some time and brain cells.

Today I finished a doll quilt for a friend's daughter (Christmas present).

I used some extra HST's from a crib quilt that also needs to be finished up.

Once that's done, I have an entire crib set that's waiting to be made
for a friend that's due this month!
I'm so excited to use Vanessa's tutorial found here.
I've made a gazillion bumper pads but I really love Vanessa's (shown below)!
And I love trying new things.

Those are just a few of the many WIP's.
If I don't come up for air in the next few days send reinforcements!

p.s. Do you need a gorgeous gift for your daughter
that she's sure to love???

You should totally make one of these!

We made this bed for our daughter over a year ago and it remains her favorite!
It fits 2 American Girl Dolls.
If you want more of a single bed simply use one less slat in the headboard and footboard.
Find the plans here.
If I remember correctly it only cost us $16 to make!

  1. I've seen that doll bed before and just love it! Thanks for the reminder!

Now... take a beep breath... and have fun with that list! We do this because we love it, right? Your work is amazing and I can't wait for more pics!

  2. Thanks Kimberly! You are so very nice! :-) And I'll take that advice because I do forget that it's supposed to be fun sometimes ;-)

  3. I love your doll quilt lulu! I feel the same way with my to do list but I think you are making more progress than most. I totally want to make that bed for my daughter. Thanks for the idea!

  4. Oh I love that bed! I am going to have to make one of those for Olive sometime soon. It's so lovely!

It's good to know I'm not the only one with the neverending list!

  5. Forget the dolls, I want that bed! Good luck with all your upcoming projects. Sewing for babies is always fun!

  6. you are so busy and still get so much accomplished. How do you do it all?

  7. Lu! You are so stinking talented! Everything you do inspires me! Thank you so much for sharing all of your beautiful quilts! I would love to do a doll quilt like the pinwheel one you shared for my little girl for Christmas.... do you mind sharing the solid colors that you used with the secret garden fabric. You just blow me away! I don't know how you find time for it all but I'm so glad that you do!

  8. Hi Jamie, where have you been girl? I hope you're doing well. Is your Busy Boy quilt coming together? Okay so, these solids are also from the Secret Garden Collection. They are geranium, canary and mint. You are so sweet Jamie. And I'm so happy that you pop in from time to time! :-)
