I've lost momentum on my On a Whim quilt that I'm making for my daughter.
It's such a fun quilt to make but I'm kind of like this dog....
"squirrel!"
In other words, I get distracted easily.
So far I have 9 blocks done, 11 more to go.
It's been a long time since I've worked on it.
But I gotta get her done!
Recently my friend Natalie whipped up this quilt top in all of 5 minutes.
I might be exaggerating but it was seriously fast!
She told me that she did them assembly style instead of by individual blocks.
Well that's not very fun!
But guess what, she was right.
Don't mark my words,
but I think I'll have this quilt top done today!
Thank goodness.
It's going to feel real good to cross this one off the list!
Go go go! You can do it! (trying to be a cheerleader here. :) It's going to be beautiful. I love that pattern.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny! I totally feel like that sweet dog too! I suppose it is easy to get distracted though with so many beautiful fabrics and projects to look at and start!!

You go girl! I always do assembly style (after I've made a block or two so I know what I'm doing :) Good luck!
