Blind Side

In my sewing room I have a boob light.
You heard me, it's shaped like a boob and gives off a mere orange glow.
I really need better lighting in my sewing room.
I spend a lot of my time in there + I don't have the best eyes to begin with.

I have been loving this light for so long!

I love that this pendant has a glass shade that lets all the light through.
Plus, it's huge!  Like 25" tall!

And while I'm ordering something from Ballard Designs I may as well throw this task lamp in my cart...

I have the perfect spot for it right next to my sewing table!

Ah yes, my sewing's not the highest priority in our new home.
But someday, it will inch it's way to the top.
Until then, I have my catalog to keep me warm :-)

It's time

Some quilts take me longer to part with than others.
In fact, I'm not totally convinced that this one needs to go.

I reeeeaaallly love it!

But, it sits neatly folded on a shelf day after day
when it really needs to be jazzing up a room somewhere!

Anywhoodle, it's up for grabs

Joining the family

This little train has been picking up steam.
I have been hard at work trying to keep up with my sketchbook.

Amy Sue is new in my store today!
I am offering this pattern at an introductory price of only $5.00!!

Amy Sue is so versatile!
She can be modern, vintage or even traditional.
Either way you look at it she is just plain lovely!

This pattern is a twist on the very traditional postage stamp quilt.
I have used solid white in my larger squares because
I wanted to showcase the stitching.
The next time I sew up this quilt I have plans to do a very bold graphic print in the larger squares and perhaps some yummy solids in the smaller ones.

Go here to check it out!

Special price expires Sunday, July 24

King Sized Circle Quilt

I made this quilt almost a year ago.
It's taken me a long time to decide to part with it!
But you know, It's a real shame that I have been keeping it stored nice and neat in my craft room armoire!
This king sized quilt needs to be the show stopper in a very cool and modern Master Bedroom.
